
Recruitment Overview
We concentrate on middle and senior management, filling vacancies from £20k p.a. upwards, the result of either executive search or advertised selection as the chosen course of action.
The good news is that we agree our fees once the brief has been finalised and this fee remains fixed* for the duration of the assignment.
Our recruitment service allows your managers to carry out their day-to-day responsibilities, leaving us to seek out the optimum candidates for final short-list so that interviews by your team can be completed with the minimum inconvenience to the business.
Executive Search
Our researchers carefully identify the most suitable candidates within the local area, but in appropriate cases extending the search as far afield as necessary. They then carry out an initial telephone interview and produce a long list for the next stage, namely face-to-face interviews lasting up to two hours per candidate. We then select a short-list comprising three to five names, when you will be in a position to conduct final interviews to determine ability and culture fit.
Advertised Selection
Where confidentiality of the vacancy and indeed the client's name is not a pre-requisite, we may suggest advertised selection and will advise on the most appropriate vehicle - www, local/national press, trade/professional magazines and commercial radio. This will produce the wide trawl for likely candidates. All CVs are read and analysed and a list drawn up of those selected for initial telephone interview. The procedure then follows that utilized for executive search. Our contacts within the press and media enable us to take advantage of positioning and timing to optimum advantage.

Briefing
We always invest as much time as is necessary to understand your needs in detail. We discuss the brief in full with you and listen to the views of those who may be affected by the appointment. Time spent at this stage can never be wasted. Our professionalism together with our commitment to achieving your objectives, sets us aside from the conventional employment agency.
We operate with total discretion and unless otherwise authorised in specific cases we do not divulge the identities of our clients nor are they used for our own promotional purposes.
Candidate Offer
Should you wish us to advise on the package offered, we will be pleased to assist you with negotiations and to ensure that the outcome complies with the necessary employment legislation. This can be particularly useful where the position is based outside the UK.
References
We attach great importance to the taking up of references. If you require us to carry out this part of the process for you, we telephone three or four named referees and report the results to you.
Additionally, we may undertake further investigations into the authenticity of academic and professional qualifications together with any other relevant background research that may be significant in determining the candidate's suitability for the position.
Keeping in contact
For the duration of the assignment, we maintain regular contact with you and the candidates. We view this as an important part of our role, enabling the recruitment process to progress smoothly with interested and enthusiastic candidates.
Post Assignment
Our service does not finish with the appointment. We will keep in touch with you and the new employee. In the unlikely event of either party experiencing any difficulty in the early stages of employment, our specialist consultants are ready to offer any assistance required.
